iPhone 3.0 : Kes,yapıştır, MMS, Push ve daha fazlası

iPhone yani arkasında duran Apple yine yaptı yapacağını. Aslında her cep telefonu firmasının aslına bakarsanız her teknoloji firmasının yaptığını yapıyor denebilri.

T-Mobile G1 Now Available for Under $100
Amazon.com is now offering the T-Mobile G1 at a special price – just over half what this Android-based smartphone normally sells for.
The regular price for the G1 is $180 when purchased with a two-year contract, but this online retailer is selling it now for $98. However, getting this price requires signing up for a new service contract, so this deal is not available to current T-Mobile customers.

More About the T-Mobile G1
The T-Mobile G1 is a consumer-oriented smartphone with support for this carrier’s new 3G network.
It includes an 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, GPS, and Wi-Fi. It also sports a microSD card slot and a 3.2 megapixel camera.
What makes the G1 special though isn’t the hardware, but that it’s the first device running an operating system that was developed primarily by Google.
It has a highly-functional web browser, and includes tie-ins to a number of this company’s online services, like Gmail and Google Maps. There is also a rapidly growing collection of third-party software available.
The G1 is also available now on T-Mobile USA’s website, as well as stores, but at the regular price. It can also be purchased in many Wal-Mart stores for $150.

Microsoft Releases More Info on Windows Marketplace for Mobile
Microsoft recently announced that Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphones coming later this year will include an on-device application store. This software giant has just revealed many details developers need to know to take advantage of this.

Developers who sell applications through Windows Marketplace for Mobile will receive 70% of the revenue, with the other 30% going to Microsoft.
Third-party developers will be able to set the price for their applications in each market, and can also choose to distribute their products for free.
Applications will have to pass a “rigorous” certification and testing process to ensure that they run well on Windows phones before they can be listed on the market.
Software developers will have to pay an introductory annual registration fee of $99, which will allow them to submit five applications a year to Microsoft for certification. Each additional submission within the year will cost $99 more. The registration fee is waived for students through enrollment in the Microsoft DreamSpark program.
“Microsoft’s decades-long relationship with developers has led to some of the most exciting innovations the industry has seen. We’ll continue our successful collaboration with developers through Windows Marketplace for Mobile, which will provide a broad reach to customers,” said Andy Lees, senior vice president of the Mobile Communications Business at Microsoft Corp. “With the new Windows Marketplace for Mobile and our great development tools, Windows® phones represent an incredible opportunity for developers everywhere.”
More details will be released when registrations open in the spring, and developers will be able to start submitting their applications later this summer. The first models running Windows Mobile 6.5 are expected to be released this fall.
Apps Stores for Everyone
Although the idea of putting a software store directly on a mobile device isn’t new — Handango InHand has been available for years, for example – Apple truly popularized the idea with the iPhone App Store.
In the wake of Apple’s success, many others have gotten on the bandwagon and are coming out with their own on-device software stores, including BlackBerry, Google, and Nokia. Microsoft’s will be a similar service, allowing users to shop for games, utilities, or other software directly on their phone.
However, none of the others are following Apple’s lead by making its software store the only source for applications.

iPhone 3.0 Will Be Unveiled on March 17
Apple has just announced that iPhone 3.0 — the next version of the system software for this smartphone — will be unveiled on March 17.
This will not be the day the new version is released; instead, Apple will be giving an “advance preview” of what will be available later.
What’s In iPhone 3.0?
At this point, exactly what’s going to be unveiled is mostly still a mystery. Apple is generally fairly good at keeping details on future products under wraps, and this is a good example.
In the absence of reliable rumors, all that’s left is speculation. Much of this is centered around long-asked-for features.
At the top of most people’s list is Cut and Paste functionality. The iPhone’s competitors and critics love to bring up that this model is missing what many consider a very basic feature.
Another possibility is the long-awaited support for Adobe Flash. This is highly requested feature from users, and last month Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen announced that Apple had asked his company to create a version of the Flash player for the iPhone.
A Flash player is on virtually all desktop PCs, but has only been slowly creeping onto smartphones. Devices without it aren’t be able to easily view many web sites, as these depend on Flash for navigation. In addition, popular sites like Hulu, Fox on Demand, and NBC.com require a high-performance Flash player to view their videos.
Other additional features that might be part of iPhone 3.0 include support for MMS messages and data tethering.
Looking Ahead to a New Model
Apple is expected to introduce a new version of the iPhone this summer. If it follows its previous practice, this device will debut with the iPhone 3.0 software, and an update for the current model will be released shortly thereafter.
Although Apple calls it the iPhone Firmware, it is also the system software for the non-smartphone version of this device, the iPod touch.
