Acer’s Latest Windows Phones Hitting the Market
The collection of smartphones based on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile that Acer unveiled earlier this year is starting to hit store shelves.
The Tempo M900 is available now, and Acer says the Tempo F900 will be on the market around the world soon.
More about the Acer Tempo M900
The M900 is a slider with a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen and a QWERTY keyboard, while an embedded fingerprint sensor helps set this model apart from its competitors.
It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro on a 533 MHz processor, and has 128 MB of RAM.
This quad-band phone offers mobile broadband, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Other features include GPS, FM Radio, microSD memory card slot, and a 5-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash.
The Tempo M900 is available unlocked at a variety of online retailers, including eXpansys, who is asking $700.

The F900 will also have a a 3.8-inch WVGA touchscreen, but leave off the hardware keyboard and fingerprint scanner. Acer is pushing it as a mobile web browser, including support for Adobe Flash Lite.
The F900 will have the 3G standards HSDPA/HSUPA and Wi-Fi. In addition, it will have a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, and memory card slot. (See image)
