-Mesajlar uygulamasını iki kat daha hızlı açıyor. Oyunlar 2.4 kat hızla açılıyor. E-posta ekleri 3.6 kat hızlı yükleniyor.
-Ortalama 2 kat daha hızlı. iPhone 3GS, 7.2 Mbps hızında HSDPA şebekesini destekliyor.
-3 megapiksel oto fokus’lu yeni kamera. Fokus yapmak istediğiniz yere ekranda üzerine tıklıyorsunuz. Düşük ışık hassasiyeti. 10 cm’e kadar oto-makro çekim yapabilme.
-Beklenen video kaydedebilme özelliği. Kamera uygulamasına bastığınızda foto ve video olarak seçim yapılıyor. Saniyede 30 kare VGA çözünürlükte sesli video kaydedebilme.
-Video’ları edit edebileceğiz. Kısaltıp, kesip biçmek çok kolay. Ayrıca video paylaşımı da arttı: e-posta, MMS, YouTube, Mobile Me.
-Ses komutlarıyla kontrol ve arama.
-Dijital pusula sayesinde yer tespiti ve Google Maps entegrasyonu.
-Gelişmiş pil ömrü. 9 saat Wi-Fi üzerinden internet bağlantısı, 10 saat video izleme, 30 saat ses ve müzik, 12 saat 2G telefon konuşması ve 5 saat 3G konuşma.
-Fiyatlar ise şöyle: 8 GB iPhone 3G 99 dolar, 16 GB iPhone 3GS 199 dolar, 32 GB iPhone 3GS 299 dolar. Tabii bunlar ABD satış fiyatları…Türkiye fiyatlarını merakla bekliyoruz.

iPhone 3.0 : Kes,yapıştır, MMS, Push ve daha fazlası
iPhone yani arkasında duran Apple yine yaptı yapacağını. Aslında her cep telefonu firmasının aslına bakarsanız her teknoloji firmasının yaptığını yapıyor denebilri. Çünkü gerekli donanımı hali hazırda Apple çıkarmış zamanın da sadece şimdi tekrar tekrar satmak için kullancıların ihtiyaçlarına göre şekillendiriyor donanımını.
Yeni özelliklere kısaca değinecek olursak.
* Önceden biliyorsunu en büyük problem olarak görülen Bluetooth olayını halletmiş iPhone yazılım geliştirici amcalarımız.
* Kes, kopyala ve yapıştır artık birçok dandik diyebileceğimiz telefonda varken neden iPhone da yoktu bunun da icabına bakmışlar.
* Türkiye de ne kadar insan kullanıyor bilmiyorum ama MMS; resimli mesaj gönderme fonksiyonunu da eklemişler bu yeni versiyonla.
* Maille işlerini yürüten iş adamlarına da kulak vermişler ve push mail özelliğini de kullanılabilir hale getirmişler.
* Sanırım en büyük gelişme ise yazılım geliştiriciler için olmuş olsa gerek birçok API de beraberinde yayınlamış Apple.
Eee ne de olsa arkasında 20 bin geliştirici ile çalışyor iPhone için Apple.

iPhone 3.0 Will Be Unveiled on March 17
Apple has just announced that iPhone 3.0 — the next version of the system software for this smartphone — will be unveiled on March 17.
This will not be the day the new version is released; instead, Apple will be giving an “advance preview” of what will be available later.
What’s In iPhone 3.0?
At this point, exactly what’s going to be unveiled is mostly still a mystery. Apple is generally fairly good at keeping details on future products under wraps, and this is a good example.
In the absence of reliable rumors, all that’s left is speculation. Much of this is centered around long-asked-for features.
At the top of most people’s list is Cut and Paste functionality. The iPhone’s competitors and critics love to bring up that this model is missing what many consider a very basic feature.
Another possibility is the long-awaited support for Adobe Flash. This is highly requested feature from users, and last month Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen announced that Apple had asked his company to create a version of the Flash player for the iPhone.
A Flash player is on virtually all desktop PCs, but has only been slowly creeping onto smartphones. Devices without it aren’t be able to easily view many web sites, as these depend on Flash for navigation. In addition, popular sites like Hulu, Fox on Demand, and NBC.com require a high-performance Flash player to view their videos.
Other additional features that might be part of iPhone 3.0 include support for MMS messages and data tethering.
Looking Ahead to a New Model
Apple is expected to introduce a new version of the iPhone this summer. If it follows its previous practice, this device will debut with the iPhone 3.0 software, and an update for the current model will be released shortly thereafter.
Although Apple calls it the iPhone Firmware, it is also the system software for the non-smartphone version of this device, the iPod touch.
